Downloadable mini Valentine’s

Hello, hello!  We are both still alive and well.  I swear.  Just busy with all the things that creep up around the holidays and with work and having a kid.  Our family (this is Erica) moved as of the beginning of the year and there are a ton of projects to do before we can be fully ‘moved in’.  So for now there are still boxes everywhere.  It will be …continue…

Pumpkin Carving Free Download!

Well, it’s been a while since I have done much in the Halloween department but I realize now as a mom that there will be many a Halloween festivity in my future.  I do love my holidays, and I never frown at an occasion for celebration.  The other night while browsing Twitter, Esther of Buy Modern Baby mentioned she was looking for a pumpkin carving party invitation, and it got …continue…

New Etsy Designs – Baby Shower

It’s been semi-quiet here on the blog, but that is because we’ve been working on new birthday invitations and baby shower invitations for our Etsy shop.  First up, here are some of our new baby shower invitations: What do you think?  Is there a baby shower theme you would love to see?  Let us know!  We’re always looking for new ideas.

an {Etsy Shop} we love

Remember when Brieanne posted a few weeks ago about the hilarious posters created by a dad based on ‘Things I’ve Said to My Children’?  Well now you can purchase those lovely posters on his Etsy shop. Wouldn’t this be great in the bathroom: (here on etsy) That reminds me . . . potty training.  Ugh. I love this one too: (here on etsy) And I say this to our dog …continue…

First comes love, then comes marriage

Everyone sang this song growing up, right? So-and-so and so-and-so kissing in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage. So even though we’re going back a step today and showing something wedding related, it’s a part of the process . . . it’s a stretch. I wanted to share with you the Save the Dates I did for my sister-in-law …continue…

Brieanne’s Tea & Tales Shower

Ok, so I know Brieanne and Brandon’s daughter, Eleanor, was born a month ago today. But I am finally posting on Brieanne’s baby shower.  We decided on a Tea & Tales shower theme.  We held the event at Crown & Crumpet in San Francisco.  It was the perfect location, suggested by Edyta (who did Brieanne’s maternity photos — put mine to shame, right?).  Absolutely adorable.  No decorations needed.  Plus they …continue…

A Second Little Hero in Yellow and Grey

Jessi and Garrett are expecting their second boy very soon! Here’s their first, Weston, at one day old, he was precious, and still is — when he stays still. I designed the invite for the shower which is below. Garrett is a firefighter, and inspiration for this nursery mood board, so we went with a firefighter theme with a more modern twist.  Jessi likes modern and yellow & grey (or …continue…

New Year + Rose Bowl + 2 Birthdays = Party!

Now that the holiday is mostly over I get to plan for my husband and Jackson’s joint birthday party on the 2nd. Jax is on Christmas Eve and Mike is on New Year’s Eve. Since Mike’s last birthday (his 30th!!) was kind of a bust, I thought I’d try and put together a party. Mike (and Jackson) wanted a football inspired party so since it is bowl season we thought …continue…

DIY: Photo Card for MOM

I love making and receiving handmade cards. I hate to spend money on an impersonal card from the grocery store when I can customize a card just for the recipient. I thought I would share the mother’s day card I made for my mom. Now that she is a grandmother too I included that in the card as well. Go to our Etsy shop to buy a package of four …continue…

Our precious gift: Jackson’s Birth Announcement

Because of all we were going through leading up to Jackson’s birth I didn’t have time to prepare his birth announcement ahead of time, see yesterday’s post.  In the end it worked out because I was able to incorporate his birth date (and time) into the announcement.  We also included a moving announcement in the envelope. I wanted to create a card that felt more personal than what is available …continue…
