{Gift Guide} For the modern kid

Last year I was all about the handmade holidays.  I bought gifts on etsy, packed them up ahead of time and was very pleased with myself.  The only problem with that is the “way ahead of time” part.  Handmade gifts usually require some planning ahead so it’s just not going to work all the time.  Here are my best modern gift picks for the babies and toddlers in your lives.

1. Hiya Rocker by Spot on Square. I love Spot on Square’s Hiya Rocker and so will any child who gets one as a gift. It’s an adorable kid-sized rocking seat and has a nice roomy pocket in the back to store reading materials. Just perfect.
2. Go Car Blue by Kid O Products. The Go Cars from Kid O are perfect as a child’s first toy car. The rubber coated wheels are quiet and smooth and the roof doubles as a handle. These come in red, blue and green.
3. Casa Toy House Storage Bin from Genius Jones. The Casa Toy House Storage Bin is colorful, fun and functional. It adds a great pop of color to a room’s decor and is a great storage solution. Peek through the windows to see the toys inside!
4. Zoo Shape Sorter by Dwellstudio. The brand new DwellStudio Zoo Shape Sorter is just as beautiful on the shelf and it is fun to play with. This or any of the other DwellStudio baby toys are can’t miss gifts.

6. GLO Nightlight by Boon. Boon’s new Glo nightlight came out just recently so you can be the first one to get your favorite babies and toddlers the coolest little lamp in town.
7. Foaming Soap Dispenser by Skip Hop. Skip Hop’s new Soapster Foaming Soap Dispenser is the must-have bath-time accessory of the year. Fill it with your baby’s favorite shampoo or body wash and you’ve got foamy soap ready to access with just one hand. And of course it come in the shape of an adorable penguin, so what’s not to love?
